Services for Alberta Rodgers, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at Golden Hill Baptist Church in Hallsville, with the Rev. J.D. Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery of Hallsville. Mrs. Rodgers passed away October 19, 2006, at Good Shepherd Hospital. Survivors include her one son, Bobby Rodgers of Gilmer; one daughter, Vivian Robertson of Longview; three sisters, Betty Jackson, Rose Glaspie, and Dorothy Rodgers; three brothers, L.T. Jr., Elmer, and David Bradley, all of Longview; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, October 24, 2006, at Stanmore Funeral Home of Longview.
