Services for Angenetta Hoye will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Gladewater, Texas. Rev. Rickey Moore, Eulogist and Rev. Sam Lawson, Pastor-Mastor of Ceremony.

Mrs. Angenetta Hoye was born October 16, 1952, in Los Angeles, California to the wedded union of Rance Cole and Katherine Barnes. Both parents have preceded her in death. Reared by her maternal grandparents, Jesse and Matilda Barnes, they also preceded her in death as well as her step-daughter, Dalicia Hoye.
As a youth, she joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church. In the past 10 plus years, she has served as an Usher and Food Committee member in God's service.
Angie worked for GTE for 12 years in various positions. She was a stay at home mom for a short period of time. She retired from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2009 after 27 years of dedicated service. She also held a position for several years with H&R Block simultaneously with her duties at U.T.
Angenetta Cole was united in Holy matrimony on August 6, 1977 to Earnest Hoye. To that union they were blessed with 3 children who will cherish her loving and fond memories: Aaron Delmas Hoye (Myss), Kandi Le'Ann Hoye (fiancée Sheridan), Kyle Cole Hoye; a step-son, Kyron Hoye (Cheryl); grandchildren, Delmas Hoye, Terreka Hoye, Arianna Hoye, Aaric Hoye, Yasmin Hoye, Ella Hoye, Kydell Hoye, Javante Alexander; two sisters, Delores Cole of Irving, TX and Michelle Williams-Riverside, CA; one aunt, Venetta Lewis of Covina, CA; nieces and nephews, Timberey Meeks-Caldwell, Thomas McGriff, Tennille McGriff, Eshaud Gibson; great-niece, Breyana Caldwell; cousins, Syrena Mason and Kim Lewis.
