Funeral Service for Mr.Arthur Dee Gilstrap,75 of Marshall will be 1:00 p.m.Saturday. April 15,2011,At Hughes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Hughes Springs,Texas with the Pastor Maurice McMillion officiating.Burial will be in Love Chapel Cemetery in Hughes Springs,Texas.

Visitation will be from Noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday,April 15,2011 here at Hayward Stanmore Funeral Chapel.
Mr.Arthur Dee Gilstrap died Wednesday,April 13,2011 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview,Texas.He was born August 18,1935 in Cass County to the late Clayburn Gilstrap and Lucy Hollman.

He was a member of Hughes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon.He was a member of Cedar Grove Male Chorus where he served for over twelve years.He worked many years and retired from Kathy Railroad Industry.He was a United States Veteran.

He leaves to mourn a devoted wife of ten years Katherine Carlisle Gilstrap of Marshall,Tx.Three sons;Arthur James Gilstrap of Mims,Tx,Cedric Gilstrap and Delvin Gilstrap of Dallas,Tx.One daughter Kokisha Brown of Daingerfield,Tx.Three step children;Jacqueline Carlisle of Marshall,Tx,David Carlisle and Keithdrick Brown of Dallas,Tx.One Brother Andrew Gilstrap of Oklahoma.Two step grandchildren Legasi Slade and Dewayne Carlisle of Marshall,Tx.A host of other grandchildren,great grandchildren,nieces,nephews,and a host of other family members and friends.
