Bettie J. Page (B.J.) was born on February 26, 1951, to the union of Jake Nathaniel and Charlene Turner in Hope, Arkansas. She was the youngest of six children born in this union.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Atlanta Street Church of Christ in Texarkana, Texas under the leadership of Bro. N. L. Evans. She graduated from Washington High School in Texarkana, Arkansas in 1968. She received her Associate Degree of Nursing from Texarkana College (William Buchanan School of Nursing) in 1972.

She married Ralph Wayne Page in Texarkana, Texas on July 22, 1972. To this union two children were born, Colisa Charlene and Patrick DeWayne. They were married 26 years.

Bettie enjoyed decorating, shopping, dancing, and watching television, especially sci-fi shows. She was a hard worker. She was passionate and thorough about caring for her family. She was very organized and a methodical planner. She enjoyed traveling and being with all of her family. Her goal in life was to do more for others than for herself. She was a blessing to anyone she knew and loved. Bettie was a registered nurse for over 30 years and known by her colleagues and patients as "BJ". In this profession her passion and attention to detail made her most memorable to those under her care while in the hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake Nathaniel and Charlene Turner; her uncle and aunt, Yancy and Viola Montgomery, who raised Bettie from an early age after the death of her parents; two brothers, Oden and Otis Turner; one sister Rosie Gamble.

Bettie is survived by her daughter Colisa Charlene (Longview, Texas); her son Patrick DeWayne (Houston, Texas); and her granddaughter Christina Charlene Floyd; one sister Maereather Thompson (Roland, Arkansas); two brothers Jake Turner Jr.(Barbara) of Schertz, Texas, Charles Williams Sr. (Evon) of Tatum Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
