The Lord God blessed the union of the late Hillory Frierson Sr. and Rilla Vance Frierson with the birth of a son whom they named Bobby Roy Frierson.

Bobby was reared in a Christian home to know and love the Lord. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Greenhill No. 2 Baptist Church. He attended Rosenwald Elementary, H. B. Pemberton School and Job Corps in McKinney, Texas.

On August 5, 1972, in Marshall, Texas I married my sweetheart, Iniece Jones and we were blessed with two adorable children. I was employed with Activa Products for 30 years.

I was preceded in death by my wife, Iniece Jones Frierson on February 6, 2005; my parents; and six sisters and four brothers.

On Tuesday night, August 19, 2008, I went to join my Lord and Saviour with my family by my side.

Those left with loving memories are my four children: Mr. Bobby R. Frierson Jr. of Karnack, Texas, Ms. Marcie M. Frierson of Karnack, Texas, Mr. Garland L. Jones of Jefferson, Texas and Rodrick D. Jones of Dallas, Texas; two brothers: Mr. Hillory Frierson Jr. of Marshall, Texas and Acie Frierson of Longview, Texas; sisters: Winnie Fields of Montgomery, Alabama, Ola Frierson of Hillsboro, Texas, Martha Brown of Marshall, Texas, Betty Mitchell of Dallas, Texas, Hazel Hubbard of Longview, Texas and Leary Barret of Dallas, Texas; my grandson who I raised as my son, Darian U. Frierson of Karnack, Texas; my 7 grandchildren: Kennesha L. Williams, Kiandra L. Williams, Kayla L. Williams, K. J. Williams, Emani S. Moore, Gemia L. Jones and Rachel I. Jones; a great number nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. You will truly be missed.
