A TIME TO BE BORN:
Mr. Charles Earl Lucky was born in Longview, Texas on August 14, 1959 to the union of Charles and Ruby Lucky. He was the oldest of eight children.
A TIME TO PLANT:
He confessed Christ at an early age at Hughes Chapel C.M.E. in Greggton, Texas.
A TIME TO LEARN:
He was educated in Longview and a graduate of Pine Tree High School. He moved to Dallas and worked for Kraft Foods for twenty years.
A TIME TO LAUGH:
The joys and pleasures of his life were with his family and friends reminiscing about stories of the past. He also enjoyed sports, cooking, fishing, and camping.
A TIME TO DIE:
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4
Realizing that God's Grace is Sufficient, Charles Earl Lucky departed this life on August 14, 2006 in Dallas, Texas. He received his final call to come home and he knew that he had come this far by grace, faith, and mercy.
A TIME OF DEATH:
Memories will be cherished by one daughter, Erika of Dallas; parents, Mr. Charles and Mrs. Ruby Lucky; five brothers, Milton of Kilgore, Lon L. of California, Curtis (Tari) of Dallas, Russell and Joey of Longview; sisters, Jackie of Longview and Lisa Harris of Kilgore; two step-sisters, Corliss and Eddie Pearl Lucky of Las Vegas; an uncle, Welton Haynes; a special friend of the family, Tony Jackson; special friend, Sandi; and a host of other relatives and friends.
