Funeral Service for Mrs. Christine Ballard of Longview, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 01, 2011, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Terrence Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Jordan Valley Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Stanmore Funeral Home.

Mrs. Christene Ballard was born to the partentage of the late R.J. and Daisy Johnson in Gilmer,Texas on December 27,1934.

She grew up in Gilmer,Texas and attended Gilmer Public Schools.

Mrs.Christene Johnson Ballard was a Home Health Care provider and a homemaker as well.

Her earthly pilgrimage came to an end on Wednesday,December 29,2010 in the Haven Care Nursing facility.

Mrs.Christene Ballard was preceded in death by her husband,Mr. Gilbert Jack Ballard,two sons Timothy Harnage,James Earl Ballard,two gransons,Patrick Samuels,James Alford.

She leave to cherish her memories two sons, Anthony Ballard, Ricky Ballard; six daughters, Laura George, Gisela Hunter, Blondie Harnage, Cheynice Lanier, Jackie Jackson and Sherry Ballard; brother, Randolph Johnson; and two sisters, Celestine Matthews and Earltine Tizeno.two brother-in-law,Tommy Ballard,Timothy Ballard;25 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren;several nieces,nephews,other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. December 31, 2010 at Stanmore Funeral Home.
