CHRISTOPHER HALTON was born October 24, 1966 to the parentage of the late Dee Davis and Ira Lee Ward Halton in Gregg County, Texas.

He became a member of Union Church of Christ as a young boy. Chris graduated from Longview High School, Class of 1985. He had a love of spending time with family and friends, fixing up vehicles, and shopping.

He was called home September 8, 2008 and is now in good company and watching over his loved ones with his mother, father and siblings Evelyn Halton Adams and James Milton Halton, who preceded him in death.

To cherish his memory he leaves one daughter, Gabrielle Halton of Longview, TX; nephew, Chun (Falecia) Halton of Tatum, TX; nieces, Kelli (Rodney) Tatum of Irving, TX, Nakeisha and Kimberly Adams both of Longview, TX; 5 great nieces and nephews, Ashlei Mitchell, Zachary and Landon Tatum, and Anna and Alecia Halton; three aunts, Eula James of Longview, TX, Euetha Halton Jackson of Kilgore, TX and Allen Waddles of Fontana, California; brother-in-law, Charles Adams of Longview, TX; special friend, TaRunce Jones of Longview, TX and a host of family and friends.
