Funeral Service for Mrs.Cynthia Rene Frazier of Marshall, Texas will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday,January 22, 2011 at Hayward Stanmore Funeral Chapel in Marshall, Texas with Rev. Rufus Waters officiating. Interment will be Rock Spring Cemetery. Mrs. Cynthia Rene Frazier died Wednesday surrounding by love ones.
On January 03, 1963, Cynthia made an arrival to her loving parents, Barbara and Hozell Adams. Oh what a joy Cynthia was to her family and Friends. She could always find a way to make you smile with her fun loving demeanor. Cynthia loved to sing and entertain family and friends. At an early age, she sang gospel songs with Aunt Virginia, her mother Babara and her two sisters, Linda and Carolyn. She sang in the Jerusalem Church choir, also whenever Cynthia was present you knew you would have a good time. Cynthia also realized her need to have a relationship with God. She joined Paradise Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of her grandfather, Rev.Larry Hawkins. She later united with the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas and Mount Olive Baptist Church of Longview, Texas.
She received her education in the Marshall Independent School District, graduating from Marshall High in 1981 and thereafter attended Kilgore Jr. College.
She was united in holy matrimony with Kenneth Lee Frazier, Sr. and to this union five children were born: Keona D., Kenneth Lee,Jr.(Niesha Criss), Ebony, Cedric and Kendric.
Cynthia entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, January 19, 2011 at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, paternal and maternal grandparents, three siblings: Mary Smith, Linda Smith and Debra Willis-Taylor.
Survivors include Children: Keona, Kenneth Jr., Ebony, Cedric and Kendric Frazier. Mother, Barbara Hawkins Smith; Siblings: Linda Adams of Longview,Texas, Carolyn Collegari of Longview, Texas, Larry Adams of Marshall, Texas, Dana Culberson of Marshall, Texas, Glenda(Darryl)Bailey of Marshall, Texas, Alex Willis of Marshall, Texas, Denessa Smith-Cooper of Dallas, Texas, Anthony Smith, Chester Smith, Warren Smith, Richard Smith and Shirley Smith of Marshall, Texas and Emma Roach of Marshall, Texas; eleven grandchildren; four aunts; two uncles; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She leaves a legacy of love, devotion and dedication to her family.
She will dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A wake will be Friday, January 21, 2011 at Stanmore Funeral Chapel in Longview, Texas from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m.
