Services for David Wayne Shaw will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Stanmore Funeral Home Chapel of Longview, with the Rev. Rayford Ingram officiating, Rev. Chris M. Holt assisting. Burial will be in Perry Clay Cemetery.

MR. DAVID WAYNE SHAW, son of the late Mr. Jewel Shaw and the late Mrs. Georgia M. Shaw, was born in Longview, Texas. He attended public schools in Longview.
Mr. Shaw entered the United States Army at an early age. David return home in 1982, and continued his military service in the National Guard.
Mr. Shaw departed this life on April 7, 2006, in Beaumont, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia M. Shaw; his dad, Jewel Shaw; two sisters, Linda Gail Gray and Charlene Johnson; and two brothers, J. W. Shaw and Billy Joe Shaw.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Danvonte D. Shaw; five sisters, Shirley, Jeannette, and Jewel all of Longview, Renee of Commerce, Texas and Annette of Fort Worth, Texas; four brothers, Ronald, Donald, Loucilious and Dennis all of Longview; an uncle, Jimmy Fitts; one sister-in-law, Shirley A. Shaw; two brothers-in-law, Curtis Watson and Thurman Mayfield; and a host of nieces and nephews all of Longview
