She united with New Bethel Baptist Church at an early age and she also fellowshipped with other churches thru life.
Dennessa was a graduate from Marshall High School,Class of 1976
She was employed with Zachary Flower Shop and GenPack.Dennessa enjoyed traveling with her son to various bowling events and she was loved by many.
She was preceded in death by her mother,Thelma Smith;father,Richard Smith Sr.;sisters,Mary Smith,Linda Smith and Cynthia Frazier.
Dennessa leaves to cherish her memory,her sons,Keithrick and Rodrick Smith;brothers,Anthony Smith,Richard(Betty) Smith,Warren Smith,Chester Smith,Larry Adams;sisters Betty Jean Smith,Shirley Hunter,Reatha K.Smith,Connie Hollis,Linda Adams,Carolyn Collegari,Patsy Hicks;aunt,Elizabeth Hailey;special niece,Vanetta George;special friends,Van Townsend,Alex Herrera,Brett Grogan;a host of nieces,nephews,cousins and friends.She will be missed dearly.
