Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy Rollins will be Wednesday, January 4, 2006 from Bethel Temple of Longview. Suffragan Bishop Robert Evans, Pastor, Sharon Hebert, Officiating, Burial Darty-Parker Cemetery.

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Parker Rollins was born in Springridge, Louisiana on November 25, 1932 to the late Artis Parker and Lenora Parker.

At an early age she united with the Paradise A.M.E. Church in Jefferson, Texas.

She united in Holy Matrimony to the late Robert Rollins, Sr. who preceded her in death. To this union seven children were born; one son, Robert Rollins, preceded her in death.

She was very uplifting and beloved. She leaves to cherish her memory a special friend for 40 years, Johnny Irving; one daughter, Debra Venters of Longview, TX; five sons, Artis Rollins of Gilmer, TX, Sammie Rollins (Doris) of Dallas, TX, Wilbert Rollins (Earlene) of Longview, TX, Larry Rollins (Dianne) of Jefferson, TX and Henry Rollins (Regina) of Irving, TX; a special Great-Grandson, Deguarian (Pete) Johnson; 27 Grandchildren; 49 Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
