Mrs Effie Sue Darden Tave was born to the parentage of the late Walter and Minnie Darden on April 10,1940.She united in matrimony to Mr.James Tave Jr. and this union four children were born.

She attended and graduated from Bruce High School and later pursued her career in nursing,worked at Gladewater Hospital and Gilmer Care Center for a number of years,as she did other nuring homes.Caring for others was a priority in her life and the Lord was her strength to do such.

Effie Sue was also preceded in death by her husband,James H.Tave Jr;daughter,Cassandra Tave;Son Jamison Tave;grandson,Kevin Tarter;great-granddaughter Diana Powe;brothers,Horace Darden and Walter J.Darden Jr;sisters,Martha Coleman and Bobbie Jean Coleman.

She is survived and will be missed by her sons,Lave Tave of Gilmer,Tx,Gerald Tave of Texaskana,Tx;one sister,Maxine Barkley of Symar,Ca;best friends,Monnie Brooks,Theonell Beasley,Helen Strickland,Lue Ann Tate;12 grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren;Two nieces she reared,Lou Reta and Shameka Jones;and a host of other nieces,nephews,cousins,other relatives and friends.
