A Celebration of Life ceremony for Mr. Ervin Adell Menefee, 57, will be on Friday, September 29, 2012 at the Stanmore Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Dr. Mattie Thompson will be officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 28 from 6-9 p.m. Burial will be in Red Rock Cemetery in Gladewater, Texas.
Dinner will be served at the home of Bobby Earl & Brenda Menefee, 607 Butler Street, Longview, Texas.

Mr. Menefee was born to the late Oscar Sr. and Ethel Lee Horton Menefee in Longview, Texas.

He attended Longview schools. He worked for Atlas and Allied Moving Van Company for many years. He later worked as a houseparent for New Life Outreach Assisted Living , as well as Adams Furniture Store. He was preceded in death by his brothers: David and Lynell Menefee, and a nephew: Carlos Menefee.

Ervin departed this life on September 14, 2012 in Rosharon, Texas. Leaving to cherish his memory are his brothers: Oscar Menefee, Jr; Bobby Earl (Brenda) of Longview, Texas.
