Twilight Funeral services for Mr. Ervin Smith will be held Fri., Feb. 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. from the Stanmore Chapel. Rev. J.C. Watkins, Officiating.

Mr. Ervin Smith was born March 19, 1956 to the parentage of Willie and Matilda Smith of Longview, Texas. He attended Longview public schools. At an early age he accepted Christ into his life. Ervin joined Parkview Baptist Church, and was an active member of the usher board until his health failed.
Ervin joined E & S Machinery back in 1978, and was there until 2006 when his health started failing.
Ervin enjoyed playing on his computer, being with his family, and his favorite of all his music. His music was his pride and joy.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Matilda Smith of Longview, Texas; a great niece-in-law, Alaiysha Eldridge of Longview, Texas; special friend, Bernard Green; and a host of other relatives and friends.
