Reflection of Life
Celebrating the Life of Ethel B. Copeland
A life well lived is measured not only by the years we are given, but by the love we shared and the lives we touched. Ethel B. Copeland was blessed with 90 wonderful years, and throughout her life, she left a legacy of faith, love, strength, and family.
Ethel B. Copeland was born on February 15, 1936, in Longview, Texas, to Chess Harris and Endie Harris. She accepted Christ at an early age and remained devoted to her faith throughout her life. As a faithful member of the Full Gospel Holy Temple in Longview, Texas, she found joy, strength, and comfort in serving the Lord.
Ethel leaves to cherish her memory four daughters: Beverly Johnson, Sallie Carter, Bennie Copeland, and Tammie Copeland; one son, Jesse Copeland; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great- great- grandchildren, and a host of honorary children, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
On June 29, 2026. Ethel peacefully entered eternal rest. She was preceded in death by both parents, Chess and Endie Harris, her beloved son, Michael Copeland, and her cherished daughter, Ella Copeland.
While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life that was rich in love, faith, and purpose. We give thanks for every lesson she taught, every prayer she offered, every sacrifice she made, and every memory she created. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Well done, good and faithful servant. Rest in the everlasting peace of the Lord, knowing that your love and legacy will never be forgotten.
