Funeral Services for Mrs. Eulla Willis will be held, Sunday, December 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from the Lewis Chapel CME Church.

EULLA "YELLOW" NELSON WILLIS was born to the parentage of the late Lewis and Luevena Nelson on April 15, 1908 in Longview, Texas.
She was married to Henry Dixon, to this union one son was born. Later she married, Murrell Willis and no children were born to this union.
Sis. Willis united with the Pleasant Hill Church of God in Christ where she was saved and baptized with the Holy Ghost. She served under the pastorate of the late Supt. J. L. Lyons, the late Supt. M. B. Ellison, Pastor B. H. Jones, Pastor H. P. Jordan, Supt. E. E. Skinner, and Pastor Clifford Pierson.
Sis. Willis served on the Usher Board and Kitchen Committee. She was very gifted in playing a "rub board" as a musical instrument to worship God. She served faithfully until her health became an issue.
Eulla departed this life of labor early Thursday morning, December 15, 2005 to receive her crown. Grandma Eulla or Yellow as everyone called her, was very well known in her community as well as others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by husbands, Henry Dixon and Murrell Willis; parents, Lewis and Luevena Nelson; brothers, John, Gabe, Eli, Hasting, E.W. and Lewis Nelson, Jr.; sisters, Peal, Maggie and Rose; and two special daughters-in-law, Missionary Christine Holland and Margie Dixon.
Sis. Willis leave to cherish her memory two sons, Bennie Holland and Grady Dixon, Sr. of Longview, Texas; twenty-one grandchildren; a host of Great-grand, Great-Great-grand and Great-Great-Great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and special friend, Ellis Jones, Jr.
