EVANGELIST CHARLCIE MAE MILLER STRUGGS was born June 24, 1941, in Easton, Texas to Fred and Fannie Mae Caraway Miller. The labours she endured on earth was for 64 years and 7 months. God called His faithful servant home from her labours of earthly works on Friday morning, January 20, 2006.
In 1961, she met and united in Holy Matrimony to her late husband for forty-one years, Bishop James Struggs, Jr. To this union five children were born. She surrendered her life to the Lord in 1970, where she became a member of Full Gospel Holy Temple of Dallas, Texas under the pastorage of Dr. Lobias Murry. Four years later she joined with her husband in the ministry field, and relocated to East Texas. During the pastorage of her husband, Bishop Struggs, she remained a supportive and faithful member until his death. In 2003, she became a member of the Greater Mount Gideon Baptist Church of Longview, Texas, under the pastorage of Rev. Robert E. Jones, Sr., until her death.
Those she joined in this great celebration are her husband, parents and other relatives and friends.
Those she leave behind to cherish, celebrate and carry on her legacy and memories: three sons, James E. (Priscilla) Struggs of Pittsburg, Texas, Kenneth (Sandra) Struggs of Easton, Texas and Mark A. Struggs of Longview, Texas; two daughters, Shennel R. Struggs of Cedar Hill, Texas and Justine (Anthony) Bell of Tatum, Texas; two brothers, Freddie (Bessie) Miller and Robert (Glenda) Miller both of Dallas, Texas area; one sister, Mattie L. Miller of Easton, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A beloved woman of God, who will be greatly missed and cherished.
