Her Beginning
Fannie Mae Taylor Ford was born June 25, 1905, in Rusk County to the parentage of Wille and Josie Woodard. She united in Christ at an early age at Smith Chapel Baptist Church and later in life was a faithful member at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Her Marraige
She was married to the late Frank Taylor, to which five childred were born. She later met and married the late Joe Ford.
Those family members who preceded her in death are her parents; five brothers; three sisters; a son, Johnny Taylor; and a daughter, Virginia Mae Buard.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Willie D. Taylor and Prentice Taylor; daughter, Betty Jean Taylor; 15 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ford was known for being a hard worker, a good provider for her family, and one with a keen sense of humor that accompanied her throughout her advanced golden years.
