Obituary

Franklin D. Russell was born on January 7, 1946, in Hallsville, Texas to the late Bess Russell and Virgie Green.

He was a dedicated member of Southern Hills Church of Christ for many years, where he served faithfully and built lasting relationships rooted in love and brotherhood.

Franklin was known for his strong character, his willingness to help others, and his unwavering faith in God. His kindness, wisdom, and good

spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion to his family, friends, and church.

Franklin's life was a reflection of his faith, and he now rests in the arms of our Lord.

Frankilin was preceded in death by his parents, siblings:  Ruby Russell-Holt, Jeanette Russell-Jones, Curtis Nell Beall, RZ Sloan and Joe Willie Russell.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three siblings: Robert Russell, Dorothy Reader, and Willie Washington, and a host of nieces and nephews.
