Funeral Services for Helen Hodge will be held, Sat. December 3, 2005 at 11:00 from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. R.K. Phillips, Pastor and Rev. D. L. Maxey, Eulogist. Burial, Perry Clay Cemetery.

HELEN was born on December 19, 1946, to the parentage of Robert Lee Bell and Lully Bell. She departed this life on November 24, 2005.

She was preceded in death by the father and two brothers.

Helen professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She was active in Sunday School, Junior Usher Board, Baptist Training Union and the Junior Choir. After relocating to Dallas, Texas she united with Progressive Baptist Church in Dallas.

She was educated in the Longview Public School System and furthered her education at Jarvis Christian College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts. She was employed by the Veterans Administration in Dallas, Texas.

Loving memories will be cherished by her sons, Henry Milton (Amani) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Adrian Bell (Ebony) of Arlington, Texas; seven brothers, Johnny, Raymond (Shirley) and Raydolphus (Virginia) all of Longview, Texas; George (Pearline) of Easton, Texas, Laydell, and Buford (Verona) all of Dallas, Texas; and Milton (Gwendolyn) of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy (Roylin) Johnson and Beverly Bell of Phoenix, Arizona; two grandchildren; three aunts; one uncle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
