Herman Eugene Davis Sr was born January 20,1945 to the Robert and Jezebel Davis.

Herman graduated from Cheatham High School in Clarksville,Texas.He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1964,served his country and was honorably discharged in 1967.

Herman met and married his loving wife,Jo Ann Davis of 43 years.He worked for Merico for 18 years until he retired in 2009.

Preceding Herman in death are his parents,Robert and Jezebel Davis;his son Scott Davis;two sisters,Margaret Marie Davis and Linnie V.Davis;two brothers,Robert Lee Davis and Billy Darnell Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife,Jo Ann Davis;two sons,Herman Eugene Davis Jr. and Myron Marcel Davis all of Longview,Texas;two sisters,Johnnie May Leek of Wichita Falls,Tx and Ethel Jewel Carter of San Antonio,Tx;two brothers,Bobby Davis and J.D.Davis of Wichita Falls,Tx;mother-in-law,Luevina Boyd and a host of nieces,nephews,other relatives and friends.Herman will be dearly missed.
