Funeral Services for Mr. Ballard will be Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m., Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Keven D. Johnson-Officiating. Burial, Perry Clay Cemetery.

MR. JAMES BALLARD was born September 6, 1961, in Longview, Texas to Gilbert Jack Ballard and Christene Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Ballard; one brother, Timothy Harnage; and one son, Patrick Samuels.

James attended Longview Public Schools and was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Christene Ballard, Laverne Ballard of Houston, TX; sons, James Ballard and Vernon Samuels; daughters, Simone, Nikki, and Jamie Ballard of Houston, TX; brothers, Anthony Ballard (Angie) and Ricky Ballard (Latasha); sisters, Gisela Hunter (Al), Blondie Harnage, Cheynice Lanier (Steve), Jackie Jackson (Juan), and Sherry Ballard (Patrick); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
