Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Evelyn Jones Earls will be held Sat. Feb. 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bethel Temple of Longview, Inc. Suffragan Bishop Robert Evans, Officiating. Burial, Jordan Valley Memorial Park.

Mrs. Jean Evelyn Jones-Earls was born November 18, 1947 in Pineville, Louisiana to the parentage of the late Luther Jones Jr. and Rosa Lee Porter Jones of Alexandria, Louisiana. She attended schools in Longview and was a 1965 graduate of Mary C. Womack High School.
She married a few years after high school graduation and moved to Chicago, Illinois. She joined the United States Postal Service in Chicago and in 1977 she moved back to Longview. After 29 years of postal service, she retired on October 31, 2003.
In September 2003, she received the Holy Spirit at Marshall Full Gospel Holy Temple.
Mrs. Jean Evelyn Jones-Earls leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Baron and Mason Earls of Longview, TX; a sister, Cheryl Jones Seastrunk and her husband Clyde of Longview, TX; brother, Willie F. Jones; two aunts and uncle; niece, Cheryl L. Taylor; nephew, Joseph L. Seastrunk; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
