Funeral servics for Mr. Jesse Ford will be held Sat. March 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. from the Hayward-Stanmore Funeral Home Chapel, Marshall, Texas, burial Rosehill Cemetery in Marshall.

Mr. Jesse Ford Sr. was born September 27, 1928 in Marshall, Texas to Joe and Mamie Ford, who preceded him in death. Mr. Ford joined St. John Baptist Church at an early age and later moved his membership to New Hope Baptist Church where he remained a faithful member until his death.
He met and married Anna Lee and to this union three children were born. She preceded him in death. He later married Patsy Harris Ford, who also preceded him in death. A son Ray, a daughter Alice, a grandson Larry, and a great-granddaughter Isis also preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories children: Dorothy Jackson, Mary Lomax, Jesse Ford Jr. (Alva), Sheila Ford all of Longview, Linda Colbert of Dallas, and Patrick Harris (Madeline) of Marshall; daughter-in-law Vera Ford; nine sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; twenty-eight grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
