Funeral Services for Kevin Tarter will be held November 26, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. from the Church of Power in Gilmer, Texas; Rev. Mark Huffhines, Pastor and Bro. Kelton Wilson, Officiating. Burial, Sunset Memorial Gardens.

KEVIN TARTER was born November 6, 1978 in Dallas County to the union of Cynthia Jackson and Walter Tarter.

He attended Gladewater School District and later graduated from Pine Tree High School.

Kevin loved to attend Sunday School, church affiliated functions and other extracurricular activities. He never met anyone that was not his friend. He was very vibrant, happy and active, loving his family, everybody and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Larry & Cynthia Tave, Walter & Sally Tarter; brothers, Kerry Tarter-Gladewater, Antwan Tave-Gilmer, Tristan Tave-San Diego, CA, Billy Darlaind-Longview, Wayne Darlaind-Blue Bridge; a sister, Ashley Tarter-Gladewater; grandparents, Catherine Jackson-Gladewater, Joe Jackson, Sr.-Hawkins, Walter E. Tarter, Sr.-White Oak, Betty M. Boyd-Marion County, and Effie S. Tave-Gilmer; two nieces; uncles and aunts; and a host of cousins and friends.
