Services for Lavermon Allison of Longview, will be at High Noon, Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church, Inc., with Pastor Homer C. Rockmore, Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Beckville, Texas.

MR. LAVERMON ALLISION was born September 21, 1943. He was the fourth of nine children born to the parentage of Buford and Adell Hicks Allison.

"Allison" attended both Longview and Tatum public schools. He received a B.S. degree in Social Studies from Huston-Tillotson College in Austin, Texas and additional studies at the University of Texas in Tyler. He was an employee of LeTourneau Manufacturing and Schlitz Container Division. He was a self-employed entrepreneur as owner of "ALLISON'S INCOME TAX AND BOOKKEEPING SERVICE" for thirty-eight years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Adell Hicks Allison; two sisters, Dewrine Allison and Evelyn Allison and paternal niece, Sherronda Allison.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and caring wife of 38 years, Bobbie J. Wilson-Allison until death; three children born to the marriage: Terrence Allyn Allison (Beaumont, TX), Tiffani Alliece Allison (Austin, TX) and Ty Antwune Allison (Dallas, TX); four grandchildren: Christen, Dylan, Ashley and Alanah; daughter-in-law, Dewanah Allison; siblings: Altha Sparks, Ladell Allison, Repunzel Ashford, Shirley Crawford, Barbara Harris and Imogene Adams; maternal aunt, Thelma Roberts; mother-in-law, Velma R. Glaspie; paternal nieces & nephews: Tameka Harris, Michelle Mitchell, Tonderlyn Bradley, Ricky Sparks, James Crawford, Jr. and Freddie Allison; nephews by marriage: Rodney L. Lomax, Djervatius Dobbins, Djonovan Dobbins, Brian Coles and Jonathan Coles; sisters-in-law: Helen R. Wilson, Donna J. Brazel and Saundra D Glaspie; brothers-in-law: Charles E Wilson, Rollette Brazel, George Ashford, James Crawford, Sr. and Robert Harris. A host of other relatives, friends and neighbors will miss "Allison".
