Funeral service for Mrs. Leatha Greenwood will be held Friday, April 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. from the Greater Zion Hill B.C. in Tatum, Texas. Burial-Zion Hill Cemetery, Tatum.

She was born March 14, 1927 to the late Albert Adams and Tishie Norris Adams. She departed this life Sunday, April 5, 2009 at a local hospital.
She attended Tatum Public Schools. Leatha accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Zion Hill Baptist Church in Tatum, Texas.
Leatha married Willie R. Greenwood and nine children were born to this blessed union.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Robbie Sue, a son, Willie Rufus Jr., two sisters and four brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory five son and two daughters: J. B. Greenwood (Thelma) of Longview, TX, Richard Greenwood of Tatum, TX, Paul Greenwood (Barbara) of Easton, TX, Elvis Greenwood, Elaine Greenwood, Leatrice Adams and Victor Adams all of Tatum, TX; three sisters, Effie Williams of Longview, TX, Betty Glaspie of Tatum, TX and Margaret Harris of Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
