Funeral Sevice for Mrs. Lugene Wright will be Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Red Oak Baptist Church, Inc. of Longview, Texas. Pastor H. C. Rockmore, Officiating. Burial, Grace Hill Cemetery.

LUGENE RAY THIGPEN WRIGHT was born to the parentage of the late Ocie and Della Ray on July 14, 1935.

Ms. Wright was a homemaker and reared her children with love and patience.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church until she moved to Longview. After moving to Longview, she became a faithful member of Red Oak Baptist Church.

Lugene married Thomas W. Thigpen Sr. at an early age and to this union four children were born: one daughter, Mrs. Regina Blackshear (John) of Houston, Texas; three sons, Thomas W. Thigpen Jr. of Galveston, Texas, Henry Thigpen of Palestine, Texas and Lloyd Thigpen of Dallas, Texas.

Later in life, Lugene married Mr. Fred Wright Sr., and one son, Fred Wright Jr. of Longview, Texas was born to this union.

Lugene was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Fred Wright Sr.
