Services for Melba Jean Hudson will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007, at Stanmore Chapel, with the Rev. Darren R. Rudolph, Officiating. Burial Lincoln Memorial Park, Shreveport, LA.

Melba Jean Hudson was born Friday, February 13, 1942, to Ms. Carrie Brown in Glaford, Louisiana.
She married the late J. B. Hudson. A son Anthony Pouncy and two brothers, J. B. Brown and Lee Edwards preceded her in death.
She attended public school where she completed her high school education.
She worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for more than 17 years.
She is survived by her brother, Eddie Hines and a host of relatives and friends.
