Services for Melvin Christopher Fagan of Longview, will be at 11 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2006, at Bethel Temple of Longview, Inc., with Pastor Evans,officiating and Elder Terrance Brookins, eulogist. Burial will be in Lillie Hill Cemetery in Longview, Texas.
MR. MELVIN CHRISTOPHER FAGAN was born March 24, 1966 to Melvin Fagan and Annie Pearl (Rose) Fagan. His earthly walked ended April 23, 2006.
He attended elementary, middle and high school in the Hallsville Independent School District. He furthered his education at the University of Texas in Austin for one year. Melvin served his country in the United States Marine Corp for 8 years.
On July 6, 1991 he joined in holy matrimony to Creshenda Deann Reliford. One son, Demarcus Cantrell Fagan was born to this union.
Melvin attended Lillie Hill Freewill Baptist Church and served in numerous capacities: usher, youth ministry, Sunday school teacher and as a Junior Deacon during his youth.
Loving Memories will be cherished by his wife and son, Creshenda and Demarcus Fagan; mother, Annie Fagan; siblings: Christine Davenport-Longview, TX, Virginia Fagan Key-Hallsville, TX, Susan Faye Stanley-Hallsville, TX, Sandra Rose Key, Everett Fagan and Thaddeus Fagan all of Longview, TX; godchildren, Nothina Greer, Dexter Palmer, Jr. and Mya Vance; his play brother and sisters, Angela, Keith and Andrea Rose; and other relatives and friends.
