Jobie Henry Meridy, Jr. was born April 26, 1949 in Bearcreek, Arkansas to Jobie Henry Meridy, Sr. & Mamie Meridy.
He attended Arkansas schools. Jobie Meridywas a member of Longview Baptist Temple Church.
Jobie was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he acquired six medals.
Loved ones who preceded him in death are his mother, Mamie Turner Meridy; father, Jobie Meridy, Sr., brother, Howard Meridy, and sister, Annie Delois McRidy.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Meridy; five daughters;one son;brothers, Carl Meridy of Omaha, Nebraska, and Charles Meridy of Kansas City, Missouri; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
