Funeral services for Nannie Patrick will be held Sat. March 10, 2007 at 1 p.m. from the Collier Chapel Baptist Church.

One's "Story of Life" begins at birth. All chapters following are an on-going work in progress, revealing the highs and lows in each one's novel; with each day urging its author on to that climatic "Story Ending".
The story of Nannie Bell Conner-Patrick (Kido) began when she was born February 28, 1921 to Tommy and Almeda Conner in Harrison County, Texas.
She was baptized at an early age at Collier Chapel Baptist Church in Baldwin, Texas and attended the Beckman School through the eighth grade.
Kido proudly worked at Dr. Douglas's nursing home in Jefferson, Texas and later she moved to the West Texas area where she met and married Will. There were no children born to this union. She returned to the Baldwin area and took care of her aging Mother until she passed on to God's kingdom.
Most important to Kido were her family and friends.

To everything there is a season,
And a time to every purpose under the Heaven;

Her father, mother and brother Ozzie (Dank) Conner preceded her in death. She leaves behind her beloved cousins, Betty Conner-Redwine (Denver, CO), Mattie Mae Conner (Dallas), Addie L. Williams (Karnack), Mary Lois Smith (Shreveport) and Junior Smith (Jefferson); devoted friend, Mae Bell and many other cousins/relatives and close friends.
