Mr.Odessa Walker was born December 14,1934,to the parentage of the late Otis and Gladys Booty Walker.He attended Longview Public School and served in the United States Army.He held a Bachelors of Science degree in Theology from TCU in Dallas/Forth Worth.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Claradine Pegues on May 04,1965.

Odessa retired from LeTourneau as a welder and was also a famer and founder of B&W Farmer's Corporation. In addition,Odessa loved hunting and fishing.He spoke adamantly of God's word and was a member of East Cotton Street Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were two of his children;daughter,Mary Katherine Walker and son,Otis James Walker;one brother,Don Neal and sister,Iverier Donahue.

Odessa leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife,Claradine Walker;three children-Shrubbery Walker,Felicia Walker and Thomas Christopher Walker all of Longview,Texas;one brother-Calvin McClendon(Thelma);three grandchildren-Tonya Harris,Kenneth Harris and Amaya Claire Jones all of Longview;eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
