Services for Phyllis Stephens-Stoker will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 11:00 a.m., Parkview Baptist Church, Pastor J. C. Watkins Officiating, Elder Kenneth W. Stephens, Eulogist, Burial, Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Phyllis Y. Stephens-Stoker, an LVN at East Texas Medical Center in Gilmer, Texas, was called home to Glory, Saturday, October 28, 2006.

Phyllis was born in Midland, Texas, July 16, 1960 to the parentage of Reverend and Sister Joe Stephens. In her early years she grew up in Midland, Texas and later moved with her parents while in Junior High School to Longview, Texas. Ms. Stephens-Stoker was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Longview.

She was preceded in death by her special sister-in-law, Sherry Ann Russell Stephens; grandfather, Kimmon Borens; uncle, Benny Borens; and nephew, Brandon Stephens.

Phyllis leaves to cherish her memories, three loving children: son, Deverell Stephens of Longview, Texas; daughter, Theresa Walker (Chris) of Longview, Texas; and son, Terrance Crayton of San Marcus, Texas; a grandson she was rearing, Keylon Crayton of Longview, Texas; her parents, Reverend and Sister Joe Stephens; grandmother, Gatha Borens of Gilmer, Texas; brothers, Kenneth Stephens, Darrell (Mary) and Cedric (Beverlyn) all of Longview, Texas; sister, Rosalind Hodge of Longview, Texas; two grandsons, DeMadre and D'Kalyn Stephens both of Longview, Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; Special Friends she dearly loved, Chris Gray, Lisa Pearson, Jennie Bartlett and CeeCee Harris.
