Funeral Services for Retha N. Jones are being held Sat., Jan. 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from the Valley View Baptist Church - Gilmer, Pastor Stevie Jeffery, Officiating. Burial, New Hope Baptist Cemetery.

On November 7, 1928, SISTER RETHA NELL JONES was born to Joe and Angie Baucham. Retha passed through the gateway of death to a world that's bright and new on January 25, 2006.
At an early age Retha confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Valley View Baptist Church of Gilmer, Texas. Sis. Retha served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Usher Board, Kitchen Staff and Missionary Society.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Louie N. Jones and to this union six children were born.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Louie N.; parents, Joe and Angie; one brother, Harvey; five sisters, Sally May, Loyla, Clemarie, Ozie B. and Margie; one son, Roger Don; one daughter, Louis Faye Wright and a grandson, R. J. Kemp.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories three daughters, Marla Gayle (George) Page of Long Beach, CA; Janice Lewis of Houston, TX and Lourie Nell (Ennis) McAllister of Longview, TX; two sons, Ronald (Shelia) Jones of Diana, TX and Wilbert Jones of Longview, TX; one sister, Nora White of California; one brother, Voddie Baucham of Los Angeles, CA; thirteen grandchildren, Samatha of South Carolina; Macon of Virginia; Metra of Atlanta, GA; Marvin of Houston, TX; Teneshia, Kera, Janice (Shay) and Jamieson all of Houston, TX; She-Ronda and B.J. of Diana, TX; Yasman, Phillip and Joshua of Long Beach, CA; one great-grandson, Tristian of Houston, TX; a host of other loving relatives, church family, friends, and a longtime special friend, Willie Lee Montgomery.
