Services for Mrs. Sammie Moore will be Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Logan Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Dr. Winston McCowan, Pastor Officiating. Burial Logan Chapel Cemetery.

SAMMIE LOIS MOORE was born January 2, 1954 to the late Revis Johnson Sr. and Ever B. Johnson.
She attended Smithland Elementary School in her early years and graduated from Jefferson High School. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was employed with Jordan Health Services for 25 years until her health failed.
She united in Holy Matrimony to McKinley Moore Jr., to this union five children were born.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Candice Moore; her parents; one sister, Pearl Jones; two brothers, Travis Johnson Sr. and Rufus Earl Johnson Sr.; and a brother-in-law, Howard Stephens Jr., who was like a brother.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 34 years, McKinley Moore Jr.; five children, D'Angela (Corey), Sondrea (Victor), McKinley III, Bridgett (Clifton) and Cedric Kelly; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters, L. V. Florence (Tommie) of Dallas, TX and Lee Helen Stephens of Sulphur Springs, TX; four brothers, Revis Johnson Jr. (Katie); Artis Johnson of Jefferson, Texas; Johnny Ray (Christine) of Hastings, Nebraska and Calvin Johnson of Sulphur Springs, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
