Funeral services for Sherley Bell will be held Sat. April 25, 2009 from the St. Paul Baptist Church-Tatum, Texas. Rev. J.T. Carter officiating, burial Zion Hill Cemetery, Tatum.

Sherley Cox Bell was born March 3, 1951 to the parentage of the late Embry and Mandy Greenwood Cox. Her eldest brother Earnest Cox also preceded her in death.

She attended the Tatum Public Schools. At an early age she accepted Christ and was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Church in Tatum, Texas until her demise. Sherley was employed for 30 plus years with Bridgford Foods in Dallas, Texas where she also lived.

Loving memories will be cherished by her son, Raymond Bell (Staci) of Mesquite, Texas and daughter, Ketrichia Bell of Longview, Texas; three grandchildren, Brittany Hicks, Earnest Hicks Jr. and Christopher Bell; six sisters, Regina Pryor (James) of Dallas, TX, Diane Arthur (Roosevelt) and Deborah Cox both of Tatum, TX, Evie Williams (James) of Mesquite, TX, Premedia Osborne (Malcolm) of Killeen, TX and Pamela Taylor (Cleveland) of Marshall, TX; four brothers, Dennis Cox (Doyce) of Corsicana, TX, Randy Cox of Bossier City, LA, Marcus Cox (Tanika) of Allen, TX and Larry Cox of Los Angeles, CA; three aunts and one uncle, Claudia Roberts of Dickerson, TX, Margie Means, Lena Gladney both of Longview, TX and Seaborn Cox of Longview, TX; a special friend Joan Fair of Dallas, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
