Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Deacon Vernon Stanmore Jr. will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church, Longview, Texas. Interment will be in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 p.m.- 6 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Stanmore Funeral Home Longview, Texas. Mr. Stanmore was the founder  of Stanmore Funeral in 1983, where he served as President & CEO.  He was born  February 10, 1945 in Queen City, Texas,  and passed away on August 25, 2024. Mr. Vernon Stanmore Jr. will be missed by his loving Family and the countless lives that he touch.
