Funeral Service for Mrs.Willie Ruth Johnson,85,of Longview,will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday,May 07,2011 at Bethel Temple of Longview with the Rev.Eric Love officiating.Interment will follow in Perry Clay Cemetery.Arrangements are by Stanmore Funeral Home.

Mrs.Johnson was born August 29,1925,to Alex and Texana Walker,deceased.She was the mother of nine children.

She was preceded in death by her spouse,Matthew Johnson;and two sons,Thomas Walker and Michael Johnson.

Survivors include her children,Willie Dean,Dorothy Jean,Larry,Rufus,Willie Arthur,Henry and Ricky;Sisters Inell Anderson and Margaret Stanley;a brother Arthur Lee Walker;21 grandchildren;25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild;and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m.Friday,May 06,2011 at Stanmore Funeral Chapel.
