A Celebration of Life ceremony for Mrs. Zelma Jean Crawford, 73, will be on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church. Pastor Freddie Lewis will be officiating. Viewing will be on Friday, August 31st, from 1-6 p.m. at Stanmore Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jordan Valley Memorial Park.

Mrs. Zelma Jean Crawford was born in Gregg County, Texas to the union of Leanon and Alberta Hanon on July 24, 1939. She attended Mary C. Womack.

At the time of her passing, she was a faithful member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Crawford,Sr., her eldest daughter, Linda Williams, and her parents, Lenon and Albert Hanon.

Mrs. Crawford leaves to cherish her memory three sons: Elbert Crawford, Jr., Curtise Crawford, Everett Crawford; five daughters: Irene Jones, Mary Jo Willis, Ouida Guice, Gloria Sheffield, and Sondra Crawford all of Longview, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
